Over the last few years, Bergerac airport has opened its gates to airlines from overseas. Several companies now fly into Bergerac from the United Kingdom (London, Bristol, Southampton, Birmingham, Leeds, Nottingham and Exeter) and recently from Belgium and Holland.
For those arriving from other destinations Bordeaux International Airport is approximately one hour's drive from the chateau. The TGV from Paris stops in Libourne which is about thirty minutes' drive from the Chateau. We can also organise for taxis to meet you at the station in Sainte Foy la Grande which is about 12 kilometres from Carbonneau.

Worth noting for those who use satellite navigation – enter 33890 Gensac which is about 2 kilometres from Carbonneau.
DRIVING FROM BERGERAC
Leaving the airport take the Rocade, direction Paris. After crossing the Aquitaine Bridge, stay in the middle lane, and then take the right lane direction Libourne. When you come to Libourne take the direction to Bergerac on the D936. After Libourne you will go through Castillon la Bataille, Lamothe Montravel and Montcaret. About 3 kms after Montcaret you will come to a large roundabout preceded by a Toyota Garage. Take the direction to Gensac/Pessac (on your right at the roundabout). Cross the bridge at Pessac and go through the village. Carry on up the hill to Gensac and at the roundabout go in front of the pharmacy and take the road to Sainte Foy la Grande. We are 2 kms along this road on the right.
DRIVING FROM BORDEAUX
Once you leave the airport, take the direction to Bordeaux/Sainte Foy la Grande. You will go through Lamonzie St Martin and Gardonne before arriving at Sainte Foy la Grande. At Sainte Foy take the direction to Bordeaux (D936). After several kilometres of rocade at the roundabout take the direction to Bordeaux. At 'Les Réaux' roundabout take the direction Gensac/Pessac to the left. Cross the bridge at Pessac and go through the village and up the hill to Gensac. At the roundabout go in front of pharmacy and take the road to Sainte Foy la Grande. The Chateau is 2 kms along this road on the right.
