Tourism
Château Carbonneau is ideally situated between the vineyards of Bordeaux, Medoc and Saint Emilion to the west and the Bergerac vineyards to the east. Our wines belong to the Sainte Foy Bordeaux appellation and we would be more than happy to share some of our experience in wine making and show you around our vineyard and winery.
SAINT-EMILION
The town of Saint Emilion is about 20 kilometres from our chateau and a visit to its prestigious wine chateaux and historic monuments is a must. You can consult the web site for the tourist office for information on visits as well as restaurants and wineries.

THE PERIGORD
We are also very well situated for trips into the Perigord starting with the charming town of Bergerac with its half-timbered houses and shady squares. Further a field you can discover the world famous historic Vallée de la Vézère and the chateaux along the Dordogne River up to the gastronomically renowned town of Sarlat.

BORDEAUX
One of the most beautiful cities in France, Bordeaux is about one hour's drive from the chateau. An ideal place for shopping or for a stroll along the waterfront with its elegant facades.
